If you want to make your travel easy and yet money saving, here are few of the resources that could be used I have used all of these resources and as I get more information I would keep on updating this page.
VISA:
Please contact the respective embassy in your country for visa. The documents should be thoroughly checked and ensure that no document is left behind.
Regular check list (may different from country to country)
- Flight Ticket
- Travel Insurance
- Proof for accommodation
- Proof for enough money to survive
- Medical requirement
- Age Verification Documents
- Address Verification Documents
- Letter from College (if going for exchange)
Flights:
There are several search engines as well as websites for Cheap flights. I am posting here some of the search engines that I have used:

Insurance:
There are many local banks and agencies providing insurance but its always worth checking these sites before deciding.
Accommodation:
My favorite is couchsurfing. It is a free and also let you meet locals.But if you want love to travel alone and needs silence than you can try other options.
Other useful websites:
If you are student then you can buy this ISIC card. It gives you a lot of discounts on travel, restaurants, clubs, bars, cinema etc.
Lonely planet has answer to most of travel query:
Don;t find anyone to consult, try TripAdvisor.
